Die Arty ist darauf angewiesen, dass die Gegner aufgeklärt werden. Ohne Scouts ist die Arty wirkungslos. Die Arty sieht aber durchaus - wenn sie sich im Map-Modus zufällig an der gleichen Stelle befindet - von wo eine andere Arty schießt. Sie kann dann auf gut Glück dorthin mal einen Schuss abgeben. Ähnliches gilt, wenn Panzer Bäume umfahren. Die fallenden Bäume kann die Arty ebenfalls sehen und dann schon mal einen Schuss setzen, auch wenn der Panzer noch nicht aufgeklärt ist. Umgekehrt ist die Arty aber auch darauf angewiesen, dass sie vor gegnerischen Panzern geschützt wird, insbesondere vor Scouts, die schon mal am Anfang eines Gefechts quer über die Map fahren, wie durch ein Wunder nicht getroffen werden (Geschwindigkeit) und dann die eigene Arty zerlegen.

Wer sich schon für die Beta von World of Tanks registriert hat, kann sich nun freuen. Wargaming berichtet, dass sie seit heute Einladungen an die Teilnehmer verschicken. Bis morgen werden weitere Einladungen versand. Von heute an, werden die Server einem Stresstest bis Sonntag dem 30.6 ausgesetzt. Die Beta-Spieler sollen anschließend den Entwicklern im offiziellen Forum helfen.

Das Free-2-Play-Spiel World of Tanks wird im Sommer 2013 auch für die Xbox 360 erscheinen, während die Beta ab Freitag und über das Wochenende gespielt werden kann. Allerdings sind die Server nur sechs Stunden am Tag offen. Eine limitierte Zahl an Spielern bekommt gerade die passenden Keys zugeschickt.Falls ihr euch registriert habt, solltet ihr also ein Auge auf euer Postfach werfen. Wenn man keine Einladung bekommen hat, es wird in den kommenden Wochen noch weitere Test-Phasen mit mehr Teilnehmern geben. Anbei findet ihr die Testzeiten.

Man sollte nicht immer alles von diversen Spieleseiten glauben. Einfach mal auf der offiziellen Seite nachschauen!

Beta participation is currently limited to only the residents of the United States and Canada age 13 and over but will be expanding to other territories in a few weeks. Location is determined by your IP address at the time of completing of the application. Beta applicants determined to be located outside of these territories will be emailed as soon as the Beta becomes available in their territory and they have been selected to participate. Beta testers will be selected on a first-come, first served basis by territory. High speed internet connection required. All applications are subject to the review of Wargaming.net LLP and Microsoft, and may be accepted or rejected at their sole discretion. Submission of an application and agreement to these terms does not guarantee you participation in the test.

The beta is here! We're starting to send out a limited number of invitations tonight and tomorrow for those players who registered for the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition Beta. These lucky tankers will have a chance to jump into the latest build for our game and help us stress test our servers during the weekend.
We will be holding three concentrated play test sessions this weekend:

• 15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT) to 21:00 PDT (24:00 EDT) on Friday June 28, 2013
• 15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT) to 21:00 PDT (24:00 EDT) on Saturday June 29, 2013
• 15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT) to 21:00 PDT (24:00 EDT) on Sunday June 30, 2013

The servers will only be available for testing during these times. After you sign in and start playing, please be sure to come back here to the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition forums to help us with any bug reporting.
This is just phase one of us opening the gates to the console version of World of Tanks. If you didn't receive an invitation code this time around, don't despair. We'll be opening up the beta to more and more players every week so keep your eyes peeled for the official invitation as well as this web portal for the latest news and information.
